You are an accomplished, well connected individual in the livestock industry looking for an opportunity to join our team.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for exceeding annual sales targets with new growth in your territory while continuing to service and maintain brand loyalty with existing customers.  To succeed in this role you will have thorough knowledge and understanding of complete feed sales programs.

Requirements:

Duties & requirements are but not limited to:
• Must possess a Diploma or a Degree in Agriculture and have 3 + years industry experience.
• Work with Producers to increase sales and growth opportunities.
• Successfully negotiate price for a win/win sale.
• Thrive on the challenges and successes in the industry.
• Develop strong and long term relationships.
• Keep abreast of industry trends.
• Present new and innovated products.
• Must be flexible with travel and scheduling while managing accounts and work independently.
• An automobile, valid license and insurance is required for this position.

Production Operator - Edmonton, AB

Responsibilities would include shipping and receiving, packaging, and processing of grain and feeds products, documentation of production and completion of HACCP records.

Requirements:

  • 1 to 2 years manufacturing experience.
  • Previous feed mill, or agricultural experience is an asset.
  • A proven track record of reliability and safe work habits.
  • Must be physically capable of lifting 25kg repeatedly.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
  • Able to work at elevated heights required.
  • Steel toed boots are mandatory.

Regular shifts are Monday to Friday with overtime available.

Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts.

Reliable transportation is a must. Public transportation is not available.

    Plant Supervisor - Wingham, ON

    We are currently seeking a Plant Supervisor.  Providing a pragmatic hands-on approach to the direction of the employees and reporting to and working with the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the planning and output of production including volume, yields and organizing.  You will lead in the day-to-day production activities of the feed plant.  You will oversee the areas of productivity, maintenance, safety, quality, regulatory compliance, customer service and housekeeping issues to ensure the company goals and objectives are achieved. 

    Requirements:

    The successful applicant has a minimum of grade 12 or equivalent, extensive knowledge of feed mill operations,  a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience, demonstrated leadership skills, a solid understanding of HAACP and safety regulations and requirements, strong interpersonal skills, decision making and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while consistently meeting deadlines.  In addition, you must have demonstrated MS office abilities.  Preference will be given to candidates with feed and grain industry experience.
