Operations Manager - Regina, SK

We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual who has extensive industry knowledge.  You will provide day-to-day leadership to all functional areas within the operation.  You will identify and drive opportunities for plant efficiencies and continuous improvements, regulatory compliance, plant productivity, cost control and project management. 

    You are responsible for all operational related events within the location, product quality, capital planning, forecasting, tracking and reporting the results to the Senior Management team.  You will lead and support safety programs and initiatives and other strategic objectives.

    Requirements:

    You have a minimum of five years’ management experience in a feed mill environment.  You also have a solid understanding of HACCP, safety regulations and requirements, excellent communication, interpersonal, decision making, and problem solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while consistently meeting deadlines. 

    Additionally, you must have demonstrated Microsoft Office applications expertise and experience with Great Plains Software is a definite asset.  Preference will be given to candidates with feed industry experience.

    Customer Service Representative - Part Time (4 hours per day) - Lethbridge, AB

    Duties include:
    Assisting customers with over the counter sales, processing orders, invoicing and establishing best method of shipment, inventory management, accurately preparing documentation and reports according to regulations and policies and provide follow up to our customer base.

    • Regular shifts are Monday to Friday with overtime available.

    Human Resources Administrator - Contract Maternity Leave Placement - London, Ontario

    The ideal candidate must have post-secondary education and working towards or completed a certification program in Human Resources.

    Ruminant Nutritionist - Western Canada

    Reporting to the Director of Nutrition, the Nutritionist will be responsible for developing ruminant feed programs and technical support.

      You will work closely with Account Managers and the Nutrition team to provide feed formulation, feeding management advice and technical support to our customers.   You will provide ongoing nutritional training and act as a resource for the Western Region sales team, additionally you will participate with quality assurance and quality control programs.

      Requirements:

      The successful candidate will possess a minimum MSc (Agriculture) degree in Animal Nutrition (Ruminant), organized, results oriented professional that is excited about pursuing a challenging career in the commercial feed industry. 

      While industry related experience is preferred, superior interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as well as proficiency in computer and nutrition software applications.
