Feeding Directions
Use this supplement with corn, wheat, soybean meal and limestone to make chick starter, grower and layer feeds.
Sample Formulas:
20% Chick Starter – Mix 200 kg of this supplement with 502 kg corn, 150 kg wheat, 141 kg soybean meal and 7 kg limestone.
18% Grower – Mix 200 kg of this supplement with 595 kg corn, 100 kg wheat, 96 kg soybean meal and 9 kg limestone.
17% Layer – Mix 200 kg of this supplement with 493 kg corn, 150 kg wheat, 79 kg soybean meal and 78 kg limestone.
Feeding Tips:
Water – Poultry should have access to clean, fresh water at all times. When starting dayold birds or after moving or transporting birds, give access to water before putting feed in the feeders.
Grit – When birds have access to coarse litter or whole grains, an insoluble grit should be fed. Limit intake of grit to 1 lb (0.5 kg) per 100 lbs (50 kg) of feed or 2 lbs (1 kg) per 100 birds per week. Grit can be blended with the ration or offered free choice in a separate feeder.
