Gro-Tech I High Fat Milk Replacer is designed to provide calves with a digestible diet, free of pathogens to support their nutritional needs for steady live weight gain. Gro-Tech I has a high fat content and can be used year-round or when maintenance requirements are higher, such as in times of cold weather.

Along with the highest quality blend of fats, which provide readily-available energy to the calf, All-Brew® has been added to promote gut cell proliferation and overall digestive health – key to helping calves fight off infection and to improve digestion. Organic chelated minerals, which are included for their bioavailability.

Feeding Directions

  1. Weigh 150 g of powder per litre of solution using a scale.
  2. Mix with 0.5 L hot water (60˚C) for three minutes.
  3. Add 0.45 L cool water and mix for one minute (total 1.0 L).
  4. Feed the milk solution at a temperature of 38 to 40˚C (body temperature) (thermometer provides best results).

This feeding schedule has been designed in accordance with NRC, 2001. This schedule is only a guideline and should be adjusted to the needs of the calf.

Automatic Feeding Machines: This product has been designed for use in automatic milk feeding machines. Mixing temperatures should be set between 40 and 42⁰C. Calibration is recommended regularly and especially when switching to a different product lot (date code on side of bag).
