Masterfeeds Pro-Plex Feedlot Finisher Premix is formulated to target the mineral and vitamin requirements of cattle in the finishing phase of the feedlot. This premix is designed to complement typical feedlot rations and has the added benefit of partially chelated trace minerals in the form of Bioplex® and Sel-Plex®. This product is what producers may turn to for reassurance when there may be absorption issues due to poor water quality or calves are experiencing a health challenge and need a little boost to get them through.

Feeding & Management Notes

  • Designed for calves weighing 550 kgs (1200 lbs) to finishing weight.
  • Feeding rate: 227 g (0.5 lbs) per head per day. 
  • Provide access to clean, fresh water at all times.
  • This premix contains salt. Another source of free-choice salt is not required.
  • Changes to feeding program should be made gradually for adaptation to take place.

Feeding Directions

Mix premix with total ration or with grain portion of the ration before feeding. Feed the resultant mix at a level such that cattle will receive about 227 g (0.5 lbs) per head per day of premix. For additional feeding instructions, contact your Masterfeeds Nutrition and Management Consultant.
