Masterfeeds Frisky Foal (pellet) is an ideal choice as a supplement for nursing foals to introduce them to solid feed and help them to wean away from milk. The balanced protein, amino acids and energy levels, with a controlled starch content, and mineral vitamin fortification, encourage balanced growth for weanlings into their yearling year. The formulation helps reduce the incidence of developmental problems.

Feeding Directions*

Nursing Foals: Feed ¼ to 1 kg of Frisky Foal per 100 kg body weight, according to the mare’s milk production and the foal’s development.

Weanlings: Feed 1 to 1½ kg of Frisky Foal per 100 kg body weight along with good quality grassy mixed forage. Feed according to development and the quality of hay or grass.

Genetic differences, management and owners goals for growth will alter the amount that should be fed. Closely monitor the foals development and adjust accordingly.
