Shipping and receiving, packaging, and processing of grain and feeds products, documentation of production and completion of HACCP records. 

Requirements:

Requirements:

  • 1 to 2 years manufacturing experience.
  • Previous feed mill, or agricultural experience is an asset.
  • A proven track record of reliability and safe work habits.
  • Must be physically capable of lifting 25kg repeatedly.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
  • Able to work at elevated heights as required.
  • Steel toed boots are mandatory.

Regular shifts are Monday to Friday with overtime available. 
Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts.

Shipper/Receiver - Winnipeg, MB

Shipping and receiving of feeds and ingredients both bulk and bags; daily bin checks for stock; loading customer bag finished feeds. All documentation of production and completion of HACCP records; Cleaning work areas; others duties as required.

Requirements:

 PDA Shipper/Receiver 

  • Outstanding organizational abilities and demonstrated attention to detail. 
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and concisely. 
  • Able to manage priorities and solve problems.
  • Familiarity with HACCP (food safety) would be considered a definite asset.
  • Previous feed mill, or agricultural experience is an asset.
  • Knowledge, understanding and daily adherence to workplace safety is mandatory. •
  • Must be physically capable of lifting 25kg. •
  • Steel toed boots are mandatory. •
  • Basic mechanical and trouble shooting skills. •
  • Previous Forklift experience is a must Regular shifts are Monday to Friday with overtime available.

Customer Service Representative / Order Desk - Picture Butte, AB

Duties include:

  • Receiving and processing orders
  • Invoicing and establishing best method of shipment of feed orders
  • Scheduling freight logistics
  • Accurately preparing documentation and reports according to regulations and policies and provide follow up to our customer base.

Requirements:

  • Outstanding organizational abilities and demonstrated attention to detail

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Previous background or working experience in the agricultural industry and/or sales environment
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

  • Able to work in a fast paced environment, and under tight deadlines
  • Experience in a similar role is a definite asset

The ideal candidate must have a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent, demonstrated previous accounting skills, be experienced in MS office applications (Word/Excel), is comfortable using internet applications, has a positive, steady and upbeat approach day to day.

Positions Available:  Cashiers and Sales Associates – Regina, Saskatchewan Pet and Animal Health Department

Full time and part time positions available 

Key Responsibilities:
• Control and accurately count cash floats and perform weekend deposits.
• Operate cash register, process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments.
• Ensure high levels of customer service and support.
• Participate in merchandising and promotional activities including pet, feed, animal health and equipment.
• Work in partnership with the Management Team and other employees to maximize store sales.
• Maintain a professional appearance, demeanour and exceptional customer service attitude at all times.

Requirements:

  • The successful candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a retail environment.  Preference will be given to persons with an agricultural background.

• Minimum of grade 12 or equivalent.
• Experience with securing and closing procedures including night key holder and alarm system activation. 
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. 
• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
