Growing Masterminds (for ages 8 to 11)

This award is designed to encourage Future AgMasters to “agvocate” messages about the importance of our farming communities, the production of the world’s food and the hard work producers do everyday to feed a growing world. Youth ages 8 to 11 are invited to create a visual illustration of how they will make a positive contribution to the future of agriculture, or show us what agriculture looks like on their family farm. Masterfeeds will award $200 to two winning applicants every year. Click here to download the application.

Deadline: December 31st (renews annually)

Mastering Futures (for ages 12 to 17)

This award is designed to encourage Future AgMasters to consider the various farm business areas within the agricultural industry. Farming is a business, and youth ages 12 to 17 are in a position to start thinking about where they can make a difference in the future of agriculture. Mastering Futures is a fun video challenge to create a one to two minute video showcasing what they hope to achieve in their future in agriculture, or speak to how they plan to go into an area of agri-buisness and why, or show how farming is the business of their family. Masterfeeds will award $300 to two winning applicants every year.  Click here to download the application.

Deadline: February 1st (renews annually)

Future Masterfeeder Scholarship (for ages 17 to 19)

Masterfeeds is dedicated to the next generation of producers and we are proud to offer this annual scholarship to an individual pursuing post-secondary education in the area of agriculture within Canada. Masterfeeds will award a scholarship of $1000 to the winning applicant that can demonstrate their passion and potential through an essay about what they hope to achieve for the future of food production or other ag-related pursuits through their education. Applicants may also include what has inspired them to pursue a career field in agriculture. The individual has goals of positively fueling an area of agriculture that will help shape the future of agriculture locally, nationally or globally. Click here to download the application.

Deadline: April 30th (renews annually)
