Masterfeeds Blueprint® Feedlot Starter Beef Premix is a unique and effective approach to beef cattle nutrition, designed with cutting-edge nutritional technologies for today’s advanced beef genetics. It is part of a premix program formulated to target  the specific nutrient requirements of young cattle entering the feedlot and to boost intake and support overall calf health.

Feeding & Management Notes

  • Designed for calves weighing 200 – 300 kgs (450 – 650 lbs) entering the feedlot.
  • Feeding rate: 180 g (0.4 lbs) per head per day. 
  • Provide access to clean, fresh water at all times.
  • This premix contains salt. Another source of free-choice salt is not required.
  • Changes to feeding program should be made gradually for adaptation to take place.

Feeding Directions

Mix premix with total ration or with grain portion of the ration before feeding. Feed the resultant mix at a level such that cattle will receive about 180 g (0.4 lbs) per head per day of premix. For additional feeding instructions, contact your Masterfeeds Nutrition and Management Consultant.

Supports overall health and performance in young cattle entering the feedlot by stimulating the natural defenses of the animal and aiding in nutrient utilization contributing to meat marketability.

Contains salt.
Regulates intake and contributes to sodium requirement.

Thiamine (Vitamin B1).
Helps guard against sulfur toxicity, ie. polioencephalomalacia.

Enhance performance and resistance to disease.

Additive options available for: Coccidiosis control, fly control, improved feed efficiency and weight gain, protection against feed mycotoxins, and ruminal buffer to reduce digestive upsets such as acidosis.
