Masterfeeds Future Lean 38-13 Grain Fed Veal Grower Supplement (pellet) is a supplement that supplies the necessary protein, minerals, vitamins and digestible fiber along with on-farm corn in a self-fed ration for optimal growth in Holstein calves from 160 to 275 kg body weight.

Feeding Directions

Mix with grain and feed so as to provide 0.9 kg of supplement per head per day.

Example Formula: Mix 1500 kg of this product with 650 kg of corn gluten feed. Feed as a complete ration along with forage. Changes to the feeding program should be made gradually for adaptation to take place.

Feeding Recommendations

Future Lean 38-13 Grower Supplement is designed to be mixed with whole corn and fed to calves as the concentrate portion of the growing ration. Thoroughly mix supplement with corn as indicated in table below:

Body Weight (kg) = 160 – 225 / 225 – 275
Future Lean Supplement (kg) = 200 / 175
Whole Shelled Corn (kg)= 800 / 825

In addition to the above rations, feed up to 0.5 kg of good quality hay per head per day. Cattle should have free access to salt. Provide clean, fresh water at all times.
