Heat stress occurs when cows cannot easily get rid of both the heat they generate and the heat they absorb. Heat stress can vary from mild to severe and has negative impacts on production and profitability. Masterfeeds Thermo-Stat provides electrolytes which are depleted when cows suffer heat stress. Also, it contains Yea-Sacc® and B-complex which improve dry matter intake and energy utilization.

Who Uses

Thermo-Stat is to be fed to lactating cows prior to and under heat stress. It is intended to boost the minerals which are depleted during times of heat stress. Also, it will help to maintain normal rumen function in order to keep a stable rumen pH and normal rumen microbiota.

Feeding Directions

Feed 100 to 200 grams/head/day to lactating cows depending on the severity of heat stress.
