Masterfeeds Total Balance #2 Dairy Premix (15:15:6) is a complete vitamin and mineral supplement that contains balanced macro minerals, trace minerals and vitamins to support high levels of milk production when forages with slightly lower levels of calcium are fed. Total Balance #2 was specifically designed with the component feeder in mind and is especially suited for use in topdress situations.

Who Uses:

Dairymen who require a complete mineral and vitamin premix to balance a feeding program or create a dairy ration using local grain and a separate source of supplemental protein and salt. Producers who feed mixed forage programs consisting of hay and/or haylage and corn silage.

Feeding Recommendations:

Feed this premix as part of a nutritionally balanced feeding program that contains forages which provide lower levels of calcium, typically at 265 grams/head/day when fed as the sole source of supplemental minerals and vitamins.

Mix 30 kg Total Balance #2 with 270 kg soybean meal and 700 kg corn and/or mixed grain to make an 18% dairy ration. Feed the resulting ration at the rate of 1 kg for every 2 to 4 kg of milk produced. Provide free-choice salt and fresh, clean water at all times.

Provides maximum allowable intake of Selenium and 500 IU of Vitamin E per day when fed as directed; high levels for improved immune function enhanced disease resistance, prevention of mastitis and improved fertility.
